Casa Carolina is an eight-room guesthouse on Rua de Cedofeita, a cobbled pedestrian street in Porto. The building was once the residence of Carolina Michaelis, the first female professor at the University of Coimbra. The design includes floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto Juliet balconies and a wooden spiral staircase.
